The Arkansas Pro Bono Partnership was established to expand the pool of volunteers to better meet the civil legal needs of low-income Arkansans. Without your volunteer efforts many more low-income Arkansans would not receive legal representation. Thank you for being here and considering the following cases.

  • Case No: 07E-103049591 - A Lee county lady, 51, wants to obtain guardianship over her cousin age 10 months.  The child has lived with the client since birth.  Natural mom is 13.  DHS has recommended that our client obtain a guardianship. (I am interested)

  • Case No: 07E-101049367 - A 21 year old Phillips county female wants to divorce her husband who has been charged with bank robbery.  The parties separated September 26, 2006.  There are no children and she is not pregnant.  There is no real estate.  There was abuse in the relationship - the last abuse occurred in September 2006. (I am interested)

  • Case No: 07E-101049520 - A 57 year old Benton County female wants to divorce her husband of thirty-seven years.  He was abusive throughout the marriage.  Last abuse occurred in November of 2006.  Her protective order expires in November 2007. (I am interested)

  • Case No: 07E-101049600 - A 28 year old wants to draft a will and a power of attorney so that her child will be taken care of by her parents in case something were to happen to her. (I am interested)

  • Case No: 07e-3043114 - Sebastian County – Guardianship - Client seeks guardianship of her 24 year old son, who has schizophrenia. The son lives with the mother.  The son does not receive disability benefits.  The son is employed at McDonald's. (I am interested)

  • Case No: 07e-3042582 - Sebastian County- Divorce- Client seeks divorce from abusive spouse.  Client has three children of the marriage. Two of the children have been in Louisiana since 12-30-2006, living with their father. (I am interested)

  • Case No: 07e-3043104 - Crawford County - Adoption - Client seeks to adopt his two stepchildren.  The natural father is in prison.  The natural father is in arrears in child support [$13,000+]. (I am interested)
