• Case No: 07E-3048547- Crawford County – Wife seeks divorce from abusive spouse, after ten years of marriage. Last incidence of abuse was on October 7, 2007, when husband threatened to kill client and then proceeded to pour gasoline around the house and on the porch. Husband is in jail on a charge of terroristic threatening. Wife has an order of protection. No minor children. Husband had a 401 K and the couple purchased a trailer during the marriage.   Client is seeking representation in a Quiet Title action against her. Client signed purchasers agreement in 2003 and is current on payments. Client said petitioner of lawsuit lost property in dispute through a foreclosure and is seeking to recover .06 acres of the land. (I am interested)
  
  
• Case No. 07E-106057078 - Monroe County - Client would like a divorce from wife. The date of the marriage was 1990. Both are dealing with depression due to disabilities. Each have a vehicle and they want to keep their own. The home was purchased prior to the marriage. Wife would like her maiden name restored. Parties have one one minor child (DOB: 1989). • Case No. 07E-105050834 - Phillips County - Client wants to file bankruptcy. Client has several medical bills that she thought was covered by Medicaid but were not. A recent pregnancy was difficult so she spent time in and out of the hospital that resulted in additional medical bills. (I am interested)
  
  
  
• Case No: 07E-3045433 - Pulaski County - Homeownership/Real Property - Client is seeking to sue the seller of her home for fraud, misrepresentation and/or deceipt. She purchased a home in August 2005 and she wants the seller to be responsible for the costs to repair the plumbing problem that was hidden at the time of the purchase. (I am interested)
  
  
• Case No: 07E-3047941 - Pulaski County - Custody / Visitation - Client is seeking legal custody of her four children. Parties were divorce in Pulaski County in 1999 and husband was granted custody. Client’s 14 year old daughter was recently beaten by the father and was granted a 6-month order of protection while she is in client’s physical custody. (I am interested)

  Client is seeking the return of the money she paid a contractor for repair work on her roof. Since the repair, the roof continues to leak. The contractor has returned twice and charged the client for repairs that have not stopped the leaks. (I am interested)

  Client is seeking to quiet title to a home so that it can be sold. The home was owned by client's aunt who died intestate in 1997. Client has been paying the taxes on the home since 1997.   Client was served with petition for custody on September 27, 2007. Client filed a timely pro se answer. The petition alleges that client is unstable, which client denies. The father of the children refused to return the children after his visitation period. (I am interested)

  Client is seeking to set aside a judgment of collection for a medical debt. Client said that she was covered by Medicaid at the time. She said that the hospital did not correctly bill Medicaid for the services. (I am interested)

• Case No: 07E-3048525 – Scott County – Client wants to file for bankruptcy. Client has been employed as a home health worker for Arkansas health department for almost two years. Client has various debts including a balance owed on a foreclosure of a home and medical debts. Client is being garnished by Saint Edwards. Client is having difficulty in paying her rent. Client is the mother of a three-year-old disabled child [autism]. The mother uses the child’s disability check to pay for the child’s rehab. The child’s Medicaid is about to run out. • Case No. 07E-103056919 - St. Francis County - Client wants formal guardianship over her great nephew (DOB: 1998). His mother brought the child to live with her when he was six months old. Mother gave client notarized statement to care for child. The mother has not visited child in at least three years and there has been no contact by the father in over two years. Client doesn't think he is on birth certificate; father currently lives somewhere in Georgia. Neither parent provides any child support; child has no source of income. Client is currently not serving as guardian to anyone else at this time and does not have any felony convictions. (I am interested)
  
  
• Case No. 07E-103056610 - Woodruff County - Client wants guardianship of her niece (DOB: 1990). The child's father had custody over her until he died in September, 2007. Her mother's parental rights were terminated in 1997 and has not had any contact with the child since that time. Client wants guardianship over niece to assist with her education and medical issues. Niece has lived with client since her father passed away last month. Client is not serving as guardian to anyone else and does not have any felony convictions. (I am interested)
